Obituary

The funeral service of Joyce Carolyn Smith Daniels will be conducted Saturday, April 25, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., at the Union Missionary Baptist Church, 70 Thompson Street, Camilla. Reverend Andrew Cannon will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oakview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Keith Freeman, Bruce Reese, Robert Simmons, Robert Taylor, Jr., Reginald Yates.

Joyce Carolyn Pinkins Daniels was born to the late Lois D. Pinkins and Nelson Smith (Willie James Pinkins), on June 15, 1955. She attended Mitchell County High School and graduated in 1975.

At an early age she joined Union Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia.

She was united in holy matrimony to Robert Daniels.

She was employed with Equity Group Division of Camilla for eight years until her health failed.
She was called home on April 14, 2009.

Preceding her in death were two sisters, Patricia Jacobs and Ann Edwards Wesley; one nephew, Joshua Reese; grandmother, Hattie M. Brown; grandfather, Leak Dewberry.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two loving daughters, Betty (Willie) Church, Jr. of Camilla, Georgia, Montrimophe Pinkins (Michael Jackson) of Moultrie, Georgia; two sons, Antonio Pinkins of Albany, Georgia, Allison Troy Smith (Joy White) of Camilla, Georgia; one nephew/son, Derrick Jacobs of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; five beautiful grandchildren, Queintavious , Keyanna, Marquez, Ma'Kai, T'Erika; five sisters, Dorothy Ceasar of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Mattie (Andrew) Cannon of Pelham, Georgia, Betty (Phillip) Williams of Moultrie, Georgia, Neeve (Lewis) Reese of Moultrie, Georgia, Katrina (Johnny) Wilson of Moultrie, Georgia; two brothers, Donnie Jacobs of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, James (Cynthia) Pinkins of Moultrie, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, aunts, and uncles; special friends, Freda Silas, Bridgette Hudson, Tyrone Oliver, Bruce Reese, Gordon Hodges, Maple Gardner.
