Juanita (Jackson) Clayton, daughter of the late Lillie Ruth Jackson and Johnny Will Jackson, was born on August 5, 1956 in Mitchell County.
Juanita was a nurturing person and was loved by all her family, friends, and neighbors. She was a phenomenal woman with a heart of gold who wore a coat of many titles. We have really lost a gem to this family and she will be missed dearly. She departed this life on November 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Preceding her in death include her parents, Lillie Ruth and Johnny Will Jackson; two sons, Derrick Clayton and Michael Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memories a husband of 46 years, Willie Charlie Clayton; two sons, Timothy (Valerie) Clayton and Jonathan (Sarah) McGregor; five daughters, Denise Clayton, Bridget (Eric) Gervin, Lisa West of Albany, Georgia, Kennethia Clayton and Tiffany Clayton of Camilla, Georgia; seven sisters, Bobbie Butts of Donaldsonville, Georgia, Linda (Zack) Brooks, Gayle Jackson, Gloria Jackson, and Elaine Church of Camilla, Georgia, Bridgett Jackson of Homestead, Florida, Gladys Jackson of Albany, Georgia; three brothers, Gus (Sherry) Jackson of Newton, Georgia, Tyrone Jackson of Camilla, Georgia, Sedrick Jackson of Homestead, Florida; fourteen grandchildren, Jasmine Clayton, Timothy Clayton, Jamarcus Clayton, Gregory Wallace, Sancoria Wallace, Jaquavian Keaton, Jakari Hall, Ny'Darrius Hall of Camilla, Georgia,Timyia Clayton, Carmen Harris of Albany, Georgia, Kennedy Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia, Willie Harris, Jr. of Greenville, North Carolina, Van (Linton) Murray of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Quandarrius Bryant of Austin, Texas; sixteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
