Lataurus Swan was born August 26, 1979 in Camilla, Georgia, to Lydia Swan and Clemon McGriff.  She was reared by an adopted mother, Lula Mae Knight and an adopted father, Addrick Thomas.

She confessed her life to CHRIST at an early age at united with Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Baconton, Georgia.

She attended Mitchell-Baker High School in Camilla, Georgia graduating with the class of 1998.  She also attended Phoenix College graduating with an Associates in Medical Assistance.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Frank Davis, Dorothy Knight, Robert Knight; brother, Roger Hodge; aunts, Pearl Davis, Vivian Lamb; uncles, Frank Davis, Jr., Robert Williams, Ronnie Williams.

She departed this life on Friday, July 16, 2021, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee, Florida.
