Lenwood King, III, of Camilla, Georgia, affectionately known as "Snap", passed away on September 3, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, Georgia. He was born on April 26, 1973, and lived a life marked by warmth, energy, and a spirit that drew people easily to him.
A 1993 graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School in Camilla, Lenwood went on to build a working life through his service with the City of Camilla, Keystone Foods, and Gilbert Poultry Farm. He was also a member of Majestic Kingdom Embassy Church, a connection that formed part of the foundation of his life.
Lenwood will be remembered as a spontaneous and outgoing man whose likable nature left a lasting impression on those around him. He enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought both challenge and peace, especially fishing and weight lifting. Whether spending time outdoors or pursuing his interests with determination, he carried himself with a lively spirit that others recognized and appreciated.
He now joins in rest his mother, Linda King, and his father, Lenwood King Jr., who preceded him in death.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought both challenge and peace, especially fishing and weight lifting.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Veaterice King, Tamiko King, and Pamela King. In their love and remembrance, his life continues to be honored, and his presence will remain close in the hearts of those who knew him best.
A memorial service for Lenwood King, III, will be held on September 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Jester Mortuary, 107 Lincoln Street, Camilla, GA 31730.
