Obituary
She attended Mitchell County Schools.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Johnny Will Jackson in 1954. To this union ten children were born.
In addition to her parents, husband, and four grandchildren, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Retha Butler and Johnnie Mae Nealy; four brothers, Willie Mike Brown, Charlie Brown, Freddie Louis Brown, and Jim Brown.
She departed this life on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Mitchell County Convalescent Center.
She leaves to cherish her memories ten children, Juanita Clayton (Willie), Linda Brooks (Zachary), Gladys Jackson, Gloria Jackson, Gayle Jackson, Gus Jackson (Sheri), Tyrone Jackson of Camilla, Georgia, Bobbie Butts of Donalsonville, Georgia, Bridgette Jackson, Sedrick Jackson of Homestead, Florida; thirty-one grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, James "Bubba" Brown (Ruthie Mae); sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Brown and Ruby Daniels; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
I am home in Heaven, dear ones:
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this Everlasting Light.
All the pain and grief are over!
Every restless yearning past;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely Home in Heaven at last.
Dear one, do not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust Our Father's Will.
When your work is completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh! the rapture of that meeting!
Oh, the joy to see you come.
