Lillie Bessie Manning Williams was born April 4, 1930 in Valdosta, Georgia, to the late John Manning and Ella Manning.  She was the youngest of ten children.

She was united in Holy Matrimony on January 16, 1946 to L. C. Williams, Sr.  They shared fifty-nine years of marriage.

She was confessed CHRIST and united with Jackson Grove Baptist Church.  In 1980, she united with the Open Door Church of Praise under the leadership of Dr. Joe R. Thomas where she was a member until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by a loving husband, L. C. Williams, Sr.; one son, Stacy Williams; one daughter, Ella Ruth Dawner; five brothers, CeeRee Sharp, Tammy Sharp, Pharoah Manning, Gene Manning, Ed Manning; three sisters, Rosa Sharp, Maple Sharp, Freta Bodiford;

She made her peaceful transition at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Loretha Jackson of Jacksonville, Florida, Lillie (Jimmy) Key of Ashburn, Georgia, Pamela (Trent) Williams of Albany, Georgia; ten sons, L. C. (Georgia) Williams, Jr., John (Bertia) Williams, Herman Williams, Michael (Mary) Williams, Patrick (Lolica) Williams, Gregory (Cynthia) Williams, of Albany, Georgia, Ossie (Vickie) Williams of Moultrie, Georgia, Stanley (Dora) Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, David (Avis) Williams of Cordele, Georgia, Curtis Williams of Camilla, Georgia; one sister, Julia Manning Williams of Jacksonville, Florida; thirty-two grandchildren; thirty-two grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
