Linda Jean Davis, daughter of the late Willie B. Davis and Ophelia Dawson Davis, was born December 29, 1951.

During her early years of life, she attended Camilla Consolidated School graduating with the class of 1969.  While in high school she participated in various school functions.  She also attended Albany State University.  She worked and retired from Proctor and Gamble Paper Products in Albany, Georgia.

Linda was a loving and caring mother who looked well to the ways of her household.  She was a part of a family who enjoyed cooking for family and friends.  Linda's part was grilling which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Linda was blessed with one child, Brandi.  Her grandchildren were a source of joy and pride in her life.

A devoted daughter, loving mother, caring sister, nurturing aunt, reliable cousin, and compassionate friend, Linda was a good natured and generous person with a big heart.  She truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and she delighted in helping and caring for others.  As an avid traveler, Linda's kindness and friendliness to all people will deeply be missed.

On Thursday, December 31, 2020, Linda departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Davis Hicks.

Linda leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Brandi Davis of Camilla, Georgia; four grandchildren, Temond Marcus, KenTorial Wimberly, ATorial Wimberly, and QuinTorial Wimberly; four sisters, Phyllis Davis of Miami, Florida, Patricia (Oscar) Jackson of Albany, Georgia, Bernita (Freddie) Thompson of Camilla, Georgia, and Brigitte Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; ; one brother, Michael (Margaret) Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; four aunts, Alice Davis of Camilla, Georgia, Ella Vera Smith of Daytona Beach, Florida, Margaret Wallace of Pelham, Georgia, Fannie Dawson of Columbus, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
