Lorentez Lamond Lundy, son of Libbie Lundy and the late Clifford Almond, was born May 22, 1981 in Camilla, Georgia.

He was educated at Mitchell-Baker High School graduating with the class of 2000.  In Middle School, he was an avid sportsman with special interest in football.

At an early age, he confessed CHRIST and united with the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Sylvester Williams.

Affectionately known as Ren to some and World to others, Lorentez had a wonderful spirit and it was hard to keep him pinned down. During his adult life, he had a mind that never ceased questioning, a serious twinkle in his eyes, a fearless and adventurous spirit, and a heart that opened freely to his family and friends. One of the things that he loved most was cooking.

The close of life's earthly journey for Lorentez has left a void in the hearts of family and friends. He had a good heart—that's how he will be remembered. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elijah Haynes and Lillian Haynes, Lonnie Mae Almond, Dimp Almond; aunts and uncles.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his mother, Libbie Lundy of Camilla, Georgia; two brothers, Clifford Almond, Jr. of Camilla, Georgia, Christopher Spears of Savannah, Georgia; two sisters, Carolyn Almond of Baconton, Georgia, Gwendolyn Hartsfield of Camilla, Georgia; aunts, Gloria Lundy Brown of Dover, Delaware, the Almond's'; uncle, Kenneth Logan of Dover, Delaware, the Almond's; special friends, Atorial Wimberly, Demetrius Williams, Damien Hawkins, Clifford Baylom, Ben Jackson (who helped reared him as a son); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
