Luscious Benjamin Pinkins, Sr., was born to the late Edward Sam Pinkins and the late Lula Mae Pinkins on September 8, 1947 in Mitchell County, Georgia. He was raised in a Christian home along with his other siblings.
He attended Union Missionary Baptist Church during his stay in Camilla.
Affectionately known as "Spick", Luscious attended Rockdale School and later attended Camilla Consolidated School. Although he did not graduate from high school, he received his GED. Luscious was employed at Turner Job Corp Center in Albany, Georgia in the orientation department.
Preceding him in death: his parents and five siblings, Willie James Pinkins, Lottie Mae Pinkins, Levander Pinkins, Lewis Pinkins, Tommy Lee Pinkins, Sr..
On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Dublin VA Medical Center, Luscious was called to rest.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a wife, Veronica Pinkins of Pelham, Georgia; two children, Katrina Pinkins of Pace, Florida, Luscious Pinkins, Jr. of Albany, Georgia; four stepchildren, Willie Stewart of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Jessica Stewart of Camilla, Georgia, Sabrina (Melvin) Cowart of Loganville, Georgia, Rodney Keaton of Pelham, Georgia; three sisters, Mary Esther Pinkins Bridges of Miami, Florida, Debra Ann Pinkins (Jeffrey W.) Marcus of Atlanta, Georgia, Betty Jean Storey of Decatur, Georgia; three brothers, Robert Herman (Theresa) Pinkins, Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia, Edward Pinkins, Leroy (Delores) Pinkins, Sr., of Camilla, Georgia; seven sisters-in-law, Esther Pinkins of Camilla, Georgia, Olivia Wesley, Mary King, Alice (George) Grissom of Camilla, Georgia, Ethel Golden, Beverly Keaton of Pelham, Georgia; four brothers-in-law, Willie Keaton of Camilla, Georgia, Stacey Golden of Pelham, Georgia, Vincent Golden of Tallahassee, Florida, Gregory Key of Valdosta, Georgia; four grandchildren; eighteen step grandchildren; thirty-six great step grandchildren.
