Obituary
Mae D. Jess Wesley was born on May 12, 1927 in Mitchell County, Georgia.
She married John King Wesley on January 13, 1951.
She departed this life on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Mae D. Jess Wesley dedicated over seventy-one years to raising her two sons, seven daughters, and three step-sons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John King Wesley; a son, Johnny C. Wesley; and stepson, Charlie Wesley.
She leaves to cherish the memories of her life to two siblings, Bennie Jess, Claretha (Roosevelt) Borrown; children, Mayolea (deceased James) Edmonds, Mae Alice Morgan, Louise Toombs, Bobbie Jean Spence, Rosa Mae Wesley, Angela Wesley, Lizzette Wesley, Ardemis Wesley; two stepsons, Joseph (Gwendolyn) Wesley and John Lee Wesley; twenty-eight grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
