Mae Alice Wesley Morgan, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt was born on August 30, 1953, in Mitchell County, Georgia to the late John King Wesley and Mae D. Wesley.

Mae closed her eyes in her sleep on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, in Albany, Georgia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny C. Wesley; stepbrother, Charlie Wesley; sisters, Angela Wesley and Mayola Edmonds.

She leaves to cherish the memories of her life her husband, Aubrey Lee Hawkins; five children: Joe (Phillis) Morgan, Azeal (Tabitha) Morgan, Tonya Wimberly, Latoya Morgan, and Harrison Morgan; seven siblings: Lousie Wesley-Toombs, Bobbie Jean Wesley- Spence, Ardemis Wesley, Rosa Mae Wesley, Lizzette Wesley; two stepbrothers Joseph (Gwendolyn) Wesley and John Lee Wesley; godson, Clifton Wilson; goddaughter, Freeda Randlel; grandchildren, Du'Bois (Camry) Crockrom, D'Shanbrianna Morgan, Keshanbrianna Hawkins, Denarrius Morgan, Martika (Edgar) Nunez, Zaniya Morgan, Azzarri Arnold, Elishia Jaye, Ni'Kenya Silas; great grandchildren, D'Asia Morgan, Emilio Nunez, Elijah Nunez, Edgar Nunez Jr., Kyri Hawkins; great-great granddaughter, D'Honstee Morgan, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
