Malanda Larnell Williams Bryant, born October 31, 1970, passed away on September 8, 2026. She will be remembered with deep love as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and cousin whose presence brought warmth to those around her.

A graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School’s Class of 1988, Malanda continued her education at Troy State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. She was employed with Mitchell Electric Membership Corporation for twelve years, serving with dedication and commitment.

Malanda was a faithful member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang with the Praise Team. Her faith was an important part of her life, and her love of singing was one of the many gifts she shared with others. She also enjoyed shopping, a simple pleasure that brought her happiness.

Those who knew Malanda will remember a woman who was shy around some, yet very outspoken at home. She was a loving first cousin, a devoted wife, a devoted mother, a devoted grandmother, and a devoted daughter. Her genuine affectionate smile, unique spirit, and great sense of humor left a lasting impression. She was kind, gentle, meek, and humble, and her loving nature touched many lives.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Bruce Bryant; her two sons, Bruce Allen Bryant, Jr. and Albert Malik Bryant; her mother, Carrie Williams; and her brothers, Roderick (Arika) Williams, Tedderick (Tamara) Jackson, Dedderick (Genise) Jackson, and Frederick Ason Jones. She is also survived by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gustine and Benjamin Hayward, as well as her aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, who remain among those who will continue to cherish her memory with love.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Williams.

Funeral services for Malanda Williams Bryant will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 12, 2026, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 8825 River Road, Camilla, Georgia 31730. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 8825 River Road, Camilla, Georgia 31730.

Malanda’s life was marked by love, faith, humility, and a joyful spirit. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
