Marion Dancey, daughter of the late Johnny Williams and Annie Grace Clayton Pittman, was born July 19, 1952 in Camilla, Georgia.

She graduated from Camilla Consolidated High School in 1970.  Upon graduation she attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie New York and majored in history.  She worked at the Mitchell County Hospital for over twenty-one years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Perry and a sister, Matrie Clayton.

She departed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at her home in Statesville, North Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Roosevelt (Desaree) Dancey of Houston, Texas, Rachid Clayton of Sanford, North Carolina; two daughters, Ikevia Dancey of Statesville, North Carolina, Rashita Vicks of Sanford, North Carolina; a brother, Ronnie Nelson of Cartersville, Georgia; a sister, Geraldine Crump of Camilla, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Raziya Jones, Jaydon Owens, Ny'jawun Pitts, Kaliyaah Dancey, Olivia Dancey, Jordan Dancey, Joshua Dancey, and Grace Dancey; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
