Mrs. Mary Kate Hicks Bembry was born April 29, 1954 in Mitchell County, Georgia to the late Robert Lee Hicks and Katie Mae Hicks.
Ann, as she was affectionately called, received her education at Jackson High School in Miami , Florida .
She was united in marriage to Bernard Bembry on July 22, 1981 .
She departed this life on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 , at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville , Georgia .
She was preceded in death by a brother, Elvis L. Hicks.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a husband, Bernard Bembry of Camilla, Georgia; a son, Travis D. Hicks; three grandchildren, Travis Hicks, Trayvarus Hicks, Dallas Hicks; four brothers, Robert L. (Dianne) Hicks, Bobbie L. (Lorraine) Hicks, Ricky Hicks; five sisters, Alisa Hicks, Jacquline Hicks, Tangela Hicks, Valerie (Bernard) Green, Roqual (Greg) White; two aunts; one uncle; a host of other relatives and friends .
The LORD Is My Shepherd
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
