Mary Lou Spooner Reese was the oldest child of Clarence Spooner and Annie Spooner. She was born January 8, 1933.
She was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She worked at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham, Georgia until she retired.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence Spooner, Jr., Eugene Spooner, Jimmy Spooner, Willie James Spooner, Henry Spooner, Jr, Charles Spooner; one sister, Katie Wynn.
Leaving in loving memories are her children, Clara Murray (Arthur) of Pelham, Georgia, Sadie Brown, special friend, Nathaniel Jackson of Camilla, Georgia, Charlie Reese, Jr., special friend, Rachel Williams of Moultrie, Georgia, Curtis Reese, special friend, Daryl Mobley of Pelham, Georgia, Kenneth Reese of Moultrie, Georgia, Bruce Reese, a special friend, Mable Gardner, Seddrick Reese of Camilla, Georgia; sister, Eva Lois Harris of Albany, Georgia; one brother, Henry Parker of Thomasville, Georgia; one brother-in-law, Issac Reese of Jacksonville, Florida; twenty grandchildren; forty-seven great grandchildren; twenty-nine great-great grandchildren; best friend, Bertha Bryant of Camilla, Georgia; caregivers, Sadie Brown, Cynthia Spooner, Arnold Reese, Lynette Butler, Clara Murray; a special friend, Lydia Reese; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
