Obituary
Ms. Williams was born March 6, 1955 in Camilla, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Verdell Williams, and sister, Agnes Williams.
During her childhood, she moved to Gadsden County where she attended the public school system. She graduated from Greensboro High School in the class of 1975.
She was employed with the State of Florida for twenty plus years, where she later retired.
She confessed Christ as her savior and joined St. Peter Apostolic Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Shundra McClean (Deryl) of Midway, Florida, Monteith Ervin (Regina) of Tallahassee, Florida; two sisters, Shirley D. Williams of St. Petersburg, Florida, Deborah A. Williams (Melvin) of Quincy, Florida; one brother, Eddie Williams (Clara) of Quincy, Florida; grandchildren, Xavier D. Parks, Courtney L. Smith of Midway, Florida, Jai'Saijziah Ervin, De'Asia Ervin of Quincy, Florida, Cameron Banks-Ervin of Tallahassee, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Miss Me–But Let Me Go !
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little–but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me–but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
