Michael Wayne Harris, son of Rebecca Harris and Henry Harris, was born July 31, 1960 in Green Cove Springs, Florida.

He attended Mitchell County High School in Camilla, Georgia.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and gardening.  He was truly loved by many and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ulyssee Gaines and Henry Bernard Harris; one sister, Phyllis Harris.

Michael departed this life on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Darrius Wheeler of Pelham, Georgia; four sisters, Deborah Jackson, Mattie Meadows, Terry Harris of Camilla, Georgia, Henrietta (David) Jones of Miami, Florida; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
