Obituary

The funeral service of Minnie Lee Williams Bryant will be conducted Saturday, October 25, 2008, at 1:00 p.m., at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 418 Love Street, NW, Pelham, Georgia. Reverend Charles Dorsey will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Camilla.

Pallbearers are Lee Burden, Earl Clayton, Oscar Clayton, William Clayton, Vincent Jackson, Robert Williams, Keith Wimberly, L. C. Wimberly.

Mrs. Bryant was born in Mitchell County, Georgia on December 8, 1929 to the late Robert Williams and Mattie Williams.

Minnie was a homemaker and loved cooking and sewing. She attended Rockdale School in Camilla, Georgia.

At an early age, she confessed Christ and joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia. She later became a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pelham, Georgia.

She was united in holy matrimony to Robert Bryant who preceded her in death. To this union eight children were born. She also had a brother and sister who preceded her in death, James Williams and Irene Harvey.

She departed this life on Thursday, October 16, 2008, at Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla, Georgia.

She leaves to cherish her memories, eight children, Rebecca Bryant, Dorothy (L. C.) Wimberly, Elaine Bryant of Detroit, Michigan, Elizabeth Jackson, Eloise (Donelle) Powell, Margaret Denise Bryant of Pelham, Georgia, Alice (Walter) Childs of Baconton, Georgia, Robert (Glenda) Bryant, Jr. of Miami, Florida; three sisters, Annie L. Williams, Lucinda Hicks, Dorothy Lee Pryor of Orlando, Florida; one brother, Emory Williams of Orlando, Florida; one sister-in-law, Ella Mae Moore of Homestead, Florida; eleven grandchildren, Wenona Shelton, L. C. Wimberly, Craig Wimberly, Keith Wimberly, Vincent Jackson, Matosha Jackson, Cedric Powell, Shylonda Bryant, Robert Bryant, III, Titus Tyrone Bryant, Lashrondria Umeka Barber; seventeen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
