Minnie Kate King was born on October 18, 1934 to the late Samuel Williams in Camilla, Georgia.

At an early age, she confessed her belief in CHRIST and joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a member of the church choir.

She was education in Mitchell County Public School system.

She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Lenwood King, Sr.  To this union, twelve children were born.

She departed this life on August 17, 2022, at the Mitchell County Convalescent Center, Camilla, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenwood King, Sr., four children, Lenwood King, Jr., Marvin L. King, Frederick O. King and Caesar R. King.

She will always live in the minds and memories of her loved ones who cherished her.  She leaves to cherish her memories, five daughters, Mattie (Vernando) Brown, McDonough, Georgia, Patricia (Gregory) Davis, Ellenwood, Georgia, Brenda Frazier, Baconton, Georgia, Teresa (Obie) Simmons, Stone Mountain, Georgia; three sons, Harry (Allene) King, Albany, Georgia, Gregory King, Bonaire, Georgia, Michael King, Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren; great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
