Mose Saxon, Jr. was born March 31, 1948 to the late Mose "Pos" and Beatrice "B" (nee Dye) Saxon at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.
He departed this life on March 4, 2018 at the home of his sister and brother-in-law in Camden, New Jersey.
Brother, as he was affectionately known, was education in the Camilla School System graduating in 1966 from Camilla Consolidated High School. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla.
After graduation, Mose moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his uncle Sonny Man and there he became employed as a construction worker for the City of Philadelphia. Later his mother became ill, not wanting her to live alone, he returned to Camilla, Georgia. There he found work with the Hercules Bumper, Inc. and worked his way up to being head inspector for over fifteen years until the company closed.
Brother leaves to cherish his memories a devoted sister and brother-in-law, Rosa (Saxon) and Johnny Lumpkin of Camden, New Jersey; a nephew, Jonathan Lumpkin (Sharon) of Glassboro, New Jersey; niece, Valerie Lumpkin of Camden, New Jersey; three great nieces, Gevona, Tiffany and Taleya; one great nephew, George Holmes, Jr.; a host of cousins and friends.
