Myra Sheppard was born September 24, 1958 to the late Golden Sheppard, Sr. and Florence Washington Sheppard.

During her childhood, she attended Mitchell County School.

Myra confessed CHRIST at an early age and later joined Bethel Baptist Church of Camilla, Georgia.

In addition to her parents, Myra was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Sheppard, Robert Sheppard, Willie D. Sheppard, Dorothy Sheppard Perry, Terry Sheppard and an aunt, Addie Washington Sweet.

Myra departed this life on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sisters, Margaret Sheppard of Cairo, Georgia and Elaine (Herbert) Pitts of Camilla, Georgia.  She also leaves special nieces, Dale Sheppard, Shermeika Sheppard of Camilla, Georgia, Amanda Sheppard of Cairo, Georgia and Wendy (Jermaine) Hutchins of Ludowici, Georgia; special great nieces, Courtney Mango, Jakeria Florence, LaTeah Warren of Camilla, Georgia, Kendall Sheppard of Cairo, Georgia; two great nephews, Jason (Rafaela) Florence of San Antonio, Texas and Jairum Queen, Jr. of Cairo, Georgia.
