Pastor Willie Pearl Chandler began her life on July 28, 1940 to the late Harrison Quimby and Jessie Quimby in Baconton, Georgia.

In 1961, she joined in holy matrimony with Johnny B. Chandler, who preceded her in death.  Also preceding her in death was a son, Ronald Chandler; one daughter, Karen Chandler; and two great grandchildren.

She confessed Christ at an early age and fellowshipped with various churches within the community.  Later, she joined Christian Life Fellowship Church in Baconton, Georgia.  In 1998, she became the pastor of Christian Life Fellowship Church until she departed her life to glory.

Pastor Willie Pearl Chandler received her education in Mitchell County Public Schools and graduated from Camilla Consolidated School in 1958.

She worked many years at the Nut Tree Pecan Company as an assembler.  Later on, she devoted much of her time as a dedicated caregiver to the Garrett and Bentley family.

Her special joy and interest included singing, serving as treasurer for the Baconton Community Choir, spreading the word of God to others, shopping, solving crossword puzzles, watching her favorite western and inspirational television shows, teaching Bible study with the Senior Citizens at Baconton Community Center.

Our precious Pearl leaves to cherish her memories a loving son, Alphonzo Quimby of Baconton, Georgia; a daughter, Janice Graham (Vernon) of Apopka, Florida; a son, Johnny Chandler (Crissy) of Atlanta, Georgia; a daughter, Cathy Childs (Rodney) of Baconton, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Dorothy Lyons (Jim), Nancy Quimby; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
