Throughout her life, Patricia was dedicated to those around her, always demonstrating compassion and generosity in her daily actions.

Patricia Ann Lyons Kennedy, affectionately known to many as Patsy Lyons, passed away on June 21, 2026. Born on March 27, 1960, in Spokane, Washington, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Rosa Lyons and the late Robert L. Lyons.

Patricia’s life was rooted in Camilla, where she was surrounded by family and gained a reputation for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering integrity. Throughout her life, Patricia was dedicated to those around her, always demonstrating compassion and generosity in her daily actions. The lasting bonds she created were meaningful and deeply valued by all who knew her.

At an early age, she confessed CHRIST and united with St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia.  

A member of the class of 1978 at Mitchell County High School, Patsy was surrounded by family and gained a reputation for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering integrity. Throughout her life, she was dedicated to those around her, always demonstrating compassion and generosity in her daily actions. Those fortunate enough to have known Patsy will remember her gentle spirit and steadfast love

The lasting bonds she created were meaningful and deeply valued by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Lyons. Patricia’s enduring love for her family was evident to everyone; she was a devoted daughter and a caring partner.

Patricia’s presence in the lives of her loved ones will be sorely missed, but her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration. Those fortunate enough to have known Patricia will remember her gentle spirit and steadfast love.

She leaves behind her husband, Issie Kennedy of Albany, Georgia; two daughters, Lydia (Lashan) Lyons and Nikia (Adrian Burke) Isom of Camilla, Georgia; mother, Rosa Lyons of Camilla, Georgia; one sister, Ella Lyons of Camilla, Georgia; one brother, Michael Lyons of Camilla, Georgia; seven grandchildren. Brandon (Miah) Ross, Tarvaneisha (Joshua) Moore, Lakayla Isom, Adrianna Burke, Joshua Burke, Jayden Burke, Destiny Lyons; three great grandchildren, Jalayah, Brandon Jr., Summer; one uncle, James (Juanita) Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio; two aunts, Rebecca Reddick of Camilla, Georgia,  Jackie (Ronnie) Graham of Baconton, Georgia; a special niece, Yomonica (Tywon) Smith; nieces; nephews; along with friends and extended family including the Reddick and Haywood's of Miami, Florida, who mourn her passing and celebrate her life. Patricia’s legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and devotion—a testament to a life well-lived.
