Obituary

Paula Anne King was born December 8, 1963 in Camilla, Georgia and was called home on August 11, 2015.  She accepted the lord at an early age and grew up with a strong Christian faith.  She was a faithful member of Fellowship Bible Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Paula attended Darton College and Fort Valley State University where she received her Bachelor's degree in 2014.  She worked in Human Resources at the Air Force Reserve Command at Robins Air Force Base.

She loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband, Gregory King of Warner Robins, Georgia; a loving and caring mother, Minnie Lawrence of Camilla, Georgia; one daughter, Hillary (Anthony) Rawls of Jacksonville, Georgia; a mother-in-law, Minnie King of Camilla, Georgia; a father-in-law, Lenwood King, Sr. of Camilla, Georgia; cousins, Susie May Brown, Pauline Turner, Jasma Lawhorne, Samantha Lawhorne, T. J. Lawhorne of Miami, Florida, Ella Louise Anderson, Marjorie Anderson, Mark Anderson, Jr., Leshawn Price, Jack Price, Jr. of Buffalo, New York; three brothers-in-law, Lenwood King, Jr. of Camilla, Georgia, Harry (Allene) King of Albany, Georgia, Michael King of Atlanta, Georgia; six sisters-in-law, Mattie (Vernando) Brown of Jonesboro, Georgia, Patricia (Gregory) Davis of Ellenwood, Georgia, Teresa (Obie) Simmons, Allison (Dave) Whiteside of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Brenda Frazier, Gloria King of Baconton, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.




Until We Meet Again

Each morning when we awake
we know that you are gone.
And no one knows the heartache
As we try to carry on.

Our hearts still ache with sadness
and many tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.

Our thoughts are always with you,
your place no one can fill.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.

There will always be a heartache,
and often a silent tear,
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here.

If tears could make a staircase,
And heartaches make a lane,
We'd walk the path to heaven
