Robert Knight, son of the late Ed Knight and Annie Ree Knight, was born December 10, 1941 in Camilla, Georgia.

He confessed his life to CHRIST at an early age at Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia.

He was employed with the Joe B. Adams and Son until retirement.

He was united in marriage on July 1, 1961 to the former Dorothy Swann. To this union six children were born.  Three children preceded them in death.

He departed this life on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia.

Robert leaves to celebrate his life five sons, Charles Knight, Cecil Knight, Dewayne Sanders, Robert Sanders, Richard Gardner of Camilla, Georgia; five daughters, Kellie Knight, Cathy Knight, Lydia Swann, Kimberly Sanders of Camilla, Georgia, Anita Swann of Wildwood, Florida; two brothers, Johnny Lee (Catherine) Knight of Camilla, Georgia, McArthur (Toy) Watkins of Milledgeville, Georgia; two sisters, Katie Isom, Lillie (Leonard) Pate of Camilla, Georgia; three sisters-in-law, Elise Knight, Rosa Lee Knight of Camilla, Georgia, Ida Nell (Freddie) Owens of Gainesville, Georgia; two brothers-in-law, Andrew Swann of Moultrie, Georgia, Charles Swann of Gainesville, Florida; nineteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
