Obituary
Rungie Alexander, son of the late Mary Virginia Alexander and Harry Alexander, was born June 6, 1965.
Late in life, he confessed CHRIST as his personal SAVIOR and became a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Alexander.
Rungie departed this life on Friday, November 8, 2013, at his residence in Pelham, Georgia.
He leaves to cherish his memories a life partner of thirty-two years, Valerie Harvey; six children, Nedrick Alexander, Seddrick Harvey, Deggary Harvey, Marquistie Harvey, Nakeisha Alexander, Mariah Harvey; three grandchildren, Lajadecas Alexander, Darrell Ball, Kamora Harvey; three sisters, Shirlette McGee, Candie Alexander, Mary D. Clayton; two brothers, Reginald Alexander, Steven Alexander; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral service of Rungie Alexander will be conducted Saturday, November 16, 2013, at 3:00 p.m., at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 418 Love Street, SW, Pelham. Reverend Elvin Mallory, pastor. Interment will follow in Pelham Cemetery.
His Journey's Just Begun
Don't think of him as gone away
His journey's just begun,
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
That we could know today
How nothing but sadness
Can really pass away.
And think of him as living
In the hearts of those he touched...
For nothing loved is ever lost
And he was loved so much.
