Sammy Riggins, was born November 15, 1950, to the late Robert Riggins, Sr. and Rosa Lee Riggins.  Sammy was born and raised in Camilla, Georgia.

Bill, as he was affectionately called, confessed CHRIST and united with the Hall Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Talvin Riggins and Virgil Riggins.

He departed this life on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at his residence.

Those he leaves to celebrate his life and wonderful memories are six brothers, Edward James (Claretha) Riggins, Jerry Riggins, Willie Frank (Elizabeth) Riggins of Camilla, Georgia, Bobby Riggins, Edress Riggins of Miami, Florida, Robert Riggins, Jr. of Cocoa, Florida; three sisters, Louise (Earnest) Bonaparte, Susie Riggins, and Alice Mae Reese of Camilla, Georgia; one aunt, Abbie "Honey" Rivers of Albany, Georgia; a special friend, Curtis Reese of Camilla, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
