IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sarah
Willingham
April 21, 1921 – August 12, 2018
A quiet and good life came to a close on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at approximately 7:36 a.m. when Sarah Victoria Willingham was called to her Heavenly home.
Born April 21, 1921, Sarah was the daughter of the late Lillie Graham and Benjamin Graham.
On July 3, 1938, Sarah was united in Holy Matrimony to Edward Willingham, who preceded her in death. To this union six children were born. Three children, Jack Edward Willingham, Benjamin Ralph Willingham, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a grandchild she reared, Tommie Willingham; four sisters, Janie Peoples, Hannah Crittle, Lessie Graham, and Lillie Crawford; five brothers, Benjamin Graham, Jr., Shelton Graham, Tobie Graham, Samuel Graham, and Willie B. Graham.
At an early age, she confessed CHRIST and united with the Hall Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until death. She was also a dedicated member of the usher board. She was also a member of the Robinson Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
Sarah was a very loving, caring and generous Christian woman. Her life was truly dedicated to the care; well-being and protection of her loved ones. She gave of herself as a mother and a source of comfort for others who were in need. Sarah was exceedingly maternal and sacrificed much to care for those she loved.
Sarah leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Queen Barney of Atlanta, Georgia, Sarah Logan and Gennie Cooper of Camilla, Georgia; a son, Arthur Willingham of Camilla, Georgia; a niece she reared, Vera (George) Price of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Mary Macon of St. Petersburg, Florida; eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
