The funeral service of Tangie Dynette McGee Holton, will be conducted Saturday, March 7, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 418 Love Street, SW, Pelham. Reverend Charles Dorsey will officate. Interment will follow in Pelham Cemetery.
Tangie Dynette McGee Holton was born October 5, 1966 to Jessie Pearl Brown and the late Gene Moore.
Later in life, she confessed Christ and became a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Tangie was united in marriage on April 6, 2007 to Eric James Holton.
She departed this life on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, a loving husband, Eric James Holton; a heart warming mother, Jessie Pearl Brown; one precious daughter, Kareda McGee; one precious son, Anthony Battle; one precious grandson, Qundarion Williford of Pelham, Georgia; two stepsons, Darius Haywood, Trevion Jones; one stepdaughter, D'Andrea Jones; a loving mother-in-law, Patricia Holton; four sisters, Qunder (Erica) Brown of Cairo, Georgia, Vonita Moore, Deborah (Steve) Goodman of Pelham, Georgia, Linda (Samuel) Phillips of Valdosta, Georgia; four brothers, Thomas (LaVone) McGee, Ernest (Berlinda) Brown, Jr. of Pelham, Georgia, Thaddeus (Leah) Stewart of Atlanta, Georgia, Eric (Kay) Moore of Camilla, Georgia; a special niece, Shadea Brown; four aunts, Louis Burroughs, Annie Pearl Tucker, Mary Alexander, Barbara Johnson of Pelham, Georgia; three uncles, Ernest Russell, Juan (Jackie) McGee, Solar McGee; two brothers-in-law, Steve (Deborah) Holton of Camilla, Georgia, Roderick Holton of Honolulu, Hawaii; one sister-in-law, Sakitha (James) Holton of Putney Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Robert Jester Mortuary on Friday, March 6, 2009, at 5:00 p.m.
