Thomasine Edwina Dye was born May 22,1947 to Thomas Dye and Eddie Mae West Dye.  They both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

She attended both Spellman and FAMU where she met and married Leon Golden Thomas. Together they had a son Thomas Edwin Thomas (Leslie Ica Thomas) who survives her as well as his children Lisa Troi, Aldridge Golden and Gabrielle Ann Thomas.

Thomasine enjoyed varied occupations but spent most of her career as a realtor at Albany Realty. She was a vibrant personality who loved her fashion. She was known and loved by many in the community.

She left this life on October 8, 2024, at the Willson Hospice House in Albany, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be given in her name to the Willson Hospice House.

She is survived by sisters, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
