IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tyrone Broadwater,
Sr.
December 11, 1968 – September 17, 2025
Tyrone Broadwater, Sr. was born on December 11, 1968, to the late Edward "Buddy" Broadwater Jr. and Catherine Broadwater. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and attended Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church in Pelham, Georgia.
At a young age, Tyrone found the love of his life, Sheila (Lumpkin) Broadwater, whom he later married. From this union, they were blessed with seven children—six daughters and one son.
Following in his father's footsteps, Tyrone took up the trade of becoming a devoted mechanic. He was the proud owner of Broadwater Auto Repair Shop, where he worked alongside his son, Tyrone Jr , for many years. He found great joy in working with his hands and had a true gift for repairing cars. He loved the challenge of fixing things and took pride in helping others, always willing to lend a hand when someone was in need. Tyrone also enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family, which brought him great happiness throughout his life.
Beyond his work and hobbies, Tyrone was most proud of his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. His family was the center of his life, and he poured his love, guidance, and steady suppor t into every moment he shared with them. His legacy of hard work and love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Tyrone and Sheila shared their life together until he gained his wings on September 17, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward "Buddy" Broadwater Jr. and Catherine Broadwater, as well as his brother, Clint Broadwater.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Sheila (Lumpkin) Broadwater; his only son, Tyrone Broadwater Jr.; six daughters: Samantha Broadwater, Tatyana Broadwater, Cassandra Broadwater, Janie Broadwater, Kenyetta Lumpkin, and Kendry Broadwater; and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Edward (Ophelia) Broadwater III, and Dewayne (Harriet) Broadwater ; his brother-in-law, Terry (Marie) Lumpkin; his sisters-in-law, Tempie Clayton and Jacqueline (Keith) Clayton; his best friend, Cartier Whitlock; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
