Ulysses Ross, Jr., was born February 16, 1950 in Mitchell County, Georgia to the late Ulysses Ross, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Ross.
At an early age he confessed CHRIST and joined the St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church.
He was a mechanic, farm worker and performed many other occupations.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vontressia Ross and a brother, Bobby Ross.
He departed this life on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Mitchell County Convalescent Center in Camilla, Georgia.
Ulysses leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Dorothy Bell Ross of Camilla, Georgia; four sons, Barnard (Mary) Ross, Shawn (Carla) Hopkins, Len (Angel) Williams of Camilla, Georgia, Mario West of Atlanta, Georgia; three daughters, Valarie (Jerome) Mobley of Camilla, Georgia, Latasha West, Toquila West of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters, Gloria (Leon) Haywood of Albany, Georgia, Johnnie Mae Ross of Camilla, Georgia, Margaret Harris of Gretna, Florida; four brothers, Douglas Ross, R. J. (Annie) Ross, Kenneth (Sakita) Ross of Camilla, Georgia, Henry (Tracy) Ross of Baconton, Georgia; five sisters-in-law, Mary Bonaparte, Linda Amos, Elizabeth Bell of Camilla, Georgia, Tammeron Ross of McComb, Mississippi, Rosa Lee Marcus of Baconton, Georgia; one brother-in-law, Charlie Amos of Baconton, Georgia; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
