William "Dusty" Wimberly, a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, was born October 31, 1957 in Camilla, Georgia, to the late James and Bernice Wimberly.

"Dusty" closed his eyes in his last sleep on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Pruitt Healthcare Center in Albany, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Wimberly.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one and only daughter, Tonya Monique Wimberly of Albany, Georgia; one granddaughter, Ke'Shanbionne Hawkins; one great granddaughter, Kyri Chester of Albany, Georgia; six brothers, James Wimberly, Jr., Tommy (Gwen) Wimberly, Cecil Wimberly of Camilla, Georgia, Horris Wimberly of Albany, New York, Darryl (Bernice) Wimberly of Bainbridge, Georgia, Lee (Jennifer) Wallace of Camilla, Georgia; two sisters, patricia (Paul) Davis, Sr. of Camilla, Georgia, Barbara Wallace of Pelham, Georgia; four uncles, Climmie (Emma) Wimberly of Atlanta, Georgia, Ronnie Charles (Yong) Wimberly of Hephzibah, Georgia, Willie C. Sanders and Cornelius Jackson of Camilla, Georgia; nine aunts, Leole McQueen of Pelham, Georgia, Bonnie Moore, Barbara (Charles, Sr.) Crump, Geneva Emanuel, Helen Jackson, Tanzie Douglas, Eddie Mae Smith, Rosa Lee Childs of Camilla, Georgia, Dorothy Sanders of Baconton, Georgia; niece and nephew he raised as his own, Erika Williams and Lanarie Jackson; a very favorite niece, Yolanda Wimberly.
