Willie B. (Tommie) Clayton was born on December 22, 1949 in Camilla, Georgia, to the late Willie Embra Clayton and Lula Mae Jackson Clayton.

During the early years of his life, he attended and graduated from Camilla Consolidated High School with the class of 1967.

As a youth, he accepted CHRIST as his Lord and Savior and united with the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen Clayton and Johnny Clayton.

On Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at North Shore Medical Center in Miami, Florida, Willie B.'s earthly journey ended when he answered the Master's call to come home.

He leaves to cherish his memories, four special people, Shirane Barbary, Tynisha Barbary, Kalil Rolle, Jr. of Miami, Florida, and Dorothy Foster of Albany, Georgia; two brothers, George (Rosie) Swagger of Miami, Florida, James (Rebecca) Clayton of Fort Mitchell, Alabama; eight sisters, Annie Jackson Willingham, Mercy Clayton Jess, Gwendolyn Clayton Jess, Brenda Clayton (Andre) Norwood, Cynthia Clayton Jess of Camilla, Georgia, Gloria Clayton Boswell of College Park, Georgia, Rosemary Clayton of Riverdale, Georgia, Tracy Clayton (Terrence) Porter of Fairburn, Georgia; two aunts, Gladys Jackson Hilbert, Annie Mae W. Jackson of Camilla, Georgia; three uncles, Bennie (Annie Lois) Jackson, Arthel (Cyrethea) Jackson of Camilla, Georgia, Freddie C. McGregor of Miami, Florida; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
