Willie Norris King was born on August 4, 1963 to the late Johnny Will King and Laura Knight King.  Both parents, a daughter, Jasmine Hawkins, sisters, Annie Jackson, Carolyn Taylor, and brother, Johnny Will King, Jr., preceded him in death.

On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, God called his child to rest.  At an early age, Willie confessed CHRIST and joined Beautiful Light Baptist Church.

Willie attended Mitchell County High School.  He was employed for many years as a heavy equipment operator for Blattner Energy. After relocating, he was employed for Mitchell County Corrections in Public Works.

Affectionately called "Hollaback", "Bo-Buck", or "Bango", Willie was a caring, outspoken and loved to help others.  He was an outdoorsman who loved to fish and do landscaping.

Survivors are children, Adarius (Arelis), Zitreal (Tabetha); sisters, Gloria Bell, Sarah Drakes (Michael); brother-in-law, Stacey Taylor; aunts, Katie Isom, Elise Knight, Rosa Lee Knight, Lillie Watkins Pate; uncles, Andrew Swan, Johnny Lee Knight (Catherine) and McArthur Watkins (Troy); special friends, Debra Guyton, Jackie Robertson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
