Willie James Taylor, son of the late Robert Taylor and Evelyn Taylor, was born in Mitchell County, Georgia on April 29, 1961.

James, as he was affectionately called, was a former employee with the City of Camilla in the Public Works Department.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Issac Taylor and Edward Johnson; and a sister, Delois White.

He departed this life on Sunday, August 2, 2020, in Albany, Georgia.

He leaves to cherish his memories, nine children, Tasha Taylor, Danyell Taylor, Janet Taylor, Elven Taylor, Courtney (Elgin) Clayton, Bridgette Caison, Neisha Cole, Keamon Taylor, Alex Harvey, Dewayne Taylor, Nakoma Fowler; three sisters, Elizabeth Bell, Alice (James) Shelton, Georgia (L. C.) Williams; six brothers, Robert James Taylor, Randy Taylor, Stacey Taylor, Charles Taylor, Rickey (Deborah) Taylor, Robert (Debra) Taylor; a special friend, Ethel Lee Woodard; thirteen grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
