Donnie Jean Williams, born on May 11, 1951, in Camilla, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her residence on February 22, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness, remembered by all who knew her for her immense love for family and friends.

Donnie was a proud graduate of Pelham Training School. Throughout her life, she cherished the value of education and the joy of lifelong learning. Known for her great personality, she was both a brilliant lady and a caring individual who treated everyone with kindness and respect. Her laughter and spirit made gatherings with family a true delight. Donnie’s skill in the kitchen, particularly her well-loved spaghetti, brought people together and created cherished memories for her family.

An avid card player and enthusiast of mobile games, Donnie always found joy in simple pleasures. Her generous heart extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a grandparent and aunt to anyone who needed one. She was a beacon of support, providing help to those around her and embodying the spirit of community with her nurturing nature.

Donnie is survived by her two daughters, Racquel Randall and Makilya Williams, both of Pelham, Georgia; her two sisters, Eleanor Jackson of Albany, Georgia, and Joann Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was also blessed with godchildren, including Derrick Richardson, Shakeria Byrd, De'Nerick Richardson, Stephanie Thompson, Teresa Haynes, Babette Willingham, and Craig Barron. Additionally, Donnie's family expanded through her two daughters-in-law, Windie Davis and Yolanda Huntley-Williams.

Her cherished friendships, including three best friends, Kaye Wright, Tonya Hill, and Marquise Hill, enriched her life and the lives of many. Donnie's legacy will continue through her many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who have been touched by her unwavering love and generosity.

She is reunited in spirit with her beloved mother, Margaret Dozier; father, Leonard Williams; son, Donald Lee Williams; and grandson, Seottavus Williams. Donnie Jean Williams will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the light she brought into this world and the love she shared.
